Course Description
Grade 12 Mandarin (LKBDU) provides extended opportunities for students to communicate and interact in the language of study in a variety of social and academic contexts. Students will refine and enhance their listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills, as well as their creative and critical thinking skills, as they explore and respond to a variety of oral and written texts, including complex authentic and adapted texts. In this course, students can explore how Chinese literary works express authors' thoughts, emotions, and social perspectives through various genres. Meanwhile, the course will be gradually enabling the students to articulate their thoughts and use Chinese as a communication tool to engage more effectively in conversations and academic discussions with Chinese audience.
